Ever old house has a room with that crappy paneling for wall covering right?
I know the mother's face looks a bit funny in the first panel.
I will be picking up the story really soon. This is just to sort of explain how the rooms where divided up. The gaudy decorating was intentional BTW. I was thinking to myself how some of these old homes used to look. I think it is coming rather well.

I actually had a house with that type of wall panel... warped wood and all. Nice job, I can't wait to see how the story progresses.
